 I opened The Nursing Cover Boutique as a one-stop shop for nursing moms who are looking for a way to breastfeed in public with style and without embarrassment.
I originally launched Modest Mums Nursing Covers in the spring of 2005 when my second son was only a few months old. I was an "out-and-about" breastfeeder who desperately needed a nursing cover and at that time, there were very few designs on the market. Because of the quality of our nursing covers and the number of prints we introduced into our line on a regular basis, we have built a loyal following and found much success with Modest Mums Nursing Covers.
Since introducing Modest Mums, the number of nursing cover designers has exploded. Some of the nursing cover designs are really terrific and I decided to open a retail shop that sells a variety of nursing covers and breastfeeding shawls by other mom-owned businesses. My intention is to give nursing moms the widest selection of nursing covers in one boutique so that you can compare features, fabrics and prints in one simple process and even purchase more than one nursing cover design in a single purchase.
